US TYPE WWII M-43 FIELD PARKA PILE LINER [JJ199YN]
M43 Liner jacket was adopted as inner wear for M43 Field Jacket. Early model had poplin on the outside and inside was Alpaca bore liner while later model liner was modified to Herringbone cotton. Unlike other liner jackets produced previously, M43 liner jacket had a rib wrist, pockets, and front buttons which allowed personnel to wear this jacket by itself and became a popular garment to soldiers. When M43 was introduced the Army produced the Liner Jacket first but the production didn’t meet the supply. to avoid any damages, the army started to issue instructions and ordered not to wear the Liner by itself. However, if you look at the photos taken at the time, you can see the soldiers wearing the liner by itself.
We have made our productions based on the Early Bore liner types but the lining is modified to acrylic.
