US TYPE NAVY NAVY WET WEATHER PARKA [JP050YN]
Adopted into the force in the 40s, the N-2 system had a rubberize process and composed as both pullover parker and overall parka. At the early stage, the front was a hook open-close type and then later changed to lace up type in the late 40s. Originally used by seamen on deck as rain gear, but also because it was wind proof, the parka started to be used by marines and seamen who go ashore during battle. In the 60s, slush pockets were added, and the parka was used heavily during the Vietnam War.
We have kept the pullover silhouette and changed the parker to a jacket style. We also changed the fabric to Jungle cross.
